Start With the Gear You Actually Want to Run

Before choosing a station, make a quick list of the items you expect to charge or run. Use It Safely Around Camp
Portable power stations are generally quiet and easy to use, but they still need basic care. Keep the unit dry, stable, and out of direct rain. Do not place it next to a fire, inside a hot sealed vehicle, or under bedding where ventilation is blocked. Battery performance also drops in cold temperatures, so protect the station from freezing conditions when possible.
Use cables in good condition and avoid routing them across busy paths where people can trip.
